Breast augmentation is more popular than ever before.  Last year alone 264,000 breast augmentations were performed which is an increase of 24% from 2000.  We are seeing ever increasing number of people who are choosing this surgery to improve their self esteem and confidence.  Often they have thought about having a breast augmentation for years.  Once they do have the augmentation, they regret that they didn't have the procedure done sooner.

A breast augmentation is done as an outpatient.  We do many of these in the outpatient surgicenter right next to our Newark, Delaware location.  The incision for a breast augmentation can be placed under the breast since the breast usually hangs over this portion of skin or you can decide to have the incision around the areola.  Both incisions will create a nicely shaped breast.
